Sunday Post #40: Firework tested

Sunday Post #40: Firework tested

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly over on the Caffeinated Reviewer.

Well, our neighborhood is getting in the swing of fireworks. Thankfully it’s not the loud boom that worries our puppy, but if he actually sees the light appear from nowhere, he will bark at it. Good news considering how much our neighborhood loves their fireworks.

This morning I’ve already been on the roof. And those wonderful helicopters Kim wrote of last week, I got to deal with this week. We have leaf guards on our gutters, but the helicopters just seem to get stuck in a heavy rain and no water goes in the gutter. I got to sweep and pick up all the helicopters that got stuck from the last rain.

I’m hoping to do more catch up this week, and possibly get back into posting on YouTube. As much of a time suck it is to script, or make notes of things I want to say for the planned video, film, and then edit it all, I’ve missed it. So this last round of Bout of Books I filmed my reading progress…or in this case lack there of. I was hoping to post yesterday, but couldn’t find the time to even import the footage between work stuff and housework. The app I’m using for productivity so far seems to be working and mostly keeping me on track. I’ve also started filming clips for a review of the app but I want to use it more than just a week before I start singing its praises.

    1. I don’t have a problem getting up to cleaning the roof. I love the view from being up so high. If it wasn’t such a pain to get on the roof, I’d probably be up there a lot more and be up there reading.

  1. We seem to hear fireworks going off more throughout the year; it used to only be bonfire night on 5th November and New Year’s Eve. I do feel for the people with pets as most animals seem to be terrified. I’m glad to hear that your little puppy manages to cope.

I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reads. x
