Sunday Post #67: New Tracking

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly over on the Caffeinated Reviewer.

For 2020 I won’t be relying so much on Goodreads to track my reading, but instead a Google Sheets doc I’ve created. I’ve used a few other reading trackers posted by other bloggers and YouTubers for ideas, and I’m still tweaking. I refuse to use a service which can not truly track a length of book (audiobook which is 25 hours, shows as 25 pages), so when you look at your stats for the year a book which may truly be your longest, may show as your shortest. It can also be hard to find a book or organize your shelves. Looking at my Want to Read shelf, moving a book up the list so I can find it more easily because I’m likely to read it this month or next may take several minutes. Or the number of times double books have been logged? Unacceptable.

Google Sheets, for now, will be the way I track in 2020 my books owned, read, and where they fall.

Currently Reading

While I technically have not yet started Apex, I plan to start later today. I’m not exactly hooked on the other books and while I’m not ready to DNF them yet as I still want to read them, I’m just not hooked on them at the moment. They aren’t holding my attention. I just keep pecking away at them.
