Duodecathon Announcement

I’ve decided I’m going to participate in the Duodecathon Readathon which starts next week.

I found this readathon from the readathon calendar put together by Little Book Owl. It happens every month for one week. There are challenges, but you only need to do one challenge per readathon. There are 12 challenges, and 12 readathons each year. I’m coming in late, so I will probably do 2 challenges sometime in the year to catch up, but for now I’m going to do one challenge.

For this round, I’m planning to do the challenge of reading the second book in a series. This will either be Scarlet by Marissa Meyer, the second book in the Lunar Chronicles; or Icefire by Chris D’Lacey, the second book in the Last Dragon Chronicles. I own Icefire, and can get Scarlet as an ebook from my library. Because I own the book, and really need to clear up my existing TBR, I am leaning towards Icefire, but Scarlet has also been calling my name.

I will be on my social media accounts so if you are also participating in this readathon I’m sure we’ll catch up sometime.
