September TBR

August didn’t go exactly to plan. In fact, I only finished the audiobook on my list, The Disappearance of Winter’s Daughter by Michael J. Sullivan. Between work, many Dentist appointments – please, brush your teeth, and working on finishing our basement, reading did not happen. Rather than just plan September based on the books I didn’t finish in August, I’m going to make slight changes.

eBooks

Mage of No Renown by Kel Kade is of course going to stay on my TBR. I’m getting really frustrated with things getting in the way and hope to rectify this not being read yet. I have a stay-cation planned at the start of September, and hope to read this book during this mini vacation. This book is to be a prequel to the ever beloved Kings Dark Tidings series, and I suspect is the start of it’s own, based on how Kel Kade has chosen to list this book on Amazon. She has listed the series as the Tales of Terralor, and this is currently book 1 of 1.

Night of the Shadow Moon by A. E. Rayne is the third book of the Furyck Saga, which I would like to finish this year. With a total of six books in the saga, I just need to read one book each month for the remainder of the year to complete it. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next, but also so very scared for what may happen next.

Audiobooks

On September 6, the latest book of the In Death series by J.D. Robb, better known as Nora Roberts, will be released. Desperation in Death is the 55th full length novel in the series. I’ve already pre-ordered the audiobook so on September 6, I will be able to immediately start listening. The summary of this book sounds like it will be another case which hits a bit close too home for our favorite Lt.

These are the few books I’m hoping to get through next month. Are there any books you’re looking forward to reading next month?
