Sunday Post #30: 3 Years of Marriage

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly over on the Caffeinated Reviewer.

Today, my husband and I are celebrating 3 years of marriage. While we have only been married for 3 years, we have actually been together for 19 years. We started dating our sophomore year of high school. (Translation, we were in the 10th grade.) Go figure how a gamer and a book pixie could stay together for so long, but we have somehow managed. ☺️

We will be going out to dinner tonight, nothing fancy, just going to a 24 hour diner. It’s actually where we went after getting married at the courthouse. No judgements. We do not regret our decision to get married at the courthouse. We just aren’t fancy people. Although, we did plan on a party for our family and friends to celebrate with us…which has not happened yet. Can you guess we aren’t really party people either?

I have been a little more productive this week with reading, but I still haven’t finished another book. And I still have Empress of Seasons, which I started as part of the Winter 2019 Bibliothon, and after renewing the book twice from my library, is due back on Tuesday. I really thought I would have finished that book this past week. I do have an audiobook I’m almost done with; and I mean I have just mere minutes left. So, look forward to a review of The Traitor’s Game by Jennifer A. Nielsen sometime this week.
