I finished listening to A Dream So Dark by L. L. McKinney. This is the second book of the Nightmare-Verse, and after I finished the first book, I predicted L. L. McKinney would become a new favorite author. She is now a favorite author! OMG! I loved A Blade So Black, and then A Dream So Dark. These are Alice in Wonderland retellings, and I mean this loosely, but also, you’ll love the similarities.
I took Thursday and Friday off from work and enjoyed my time away. Mostly I slept. Not kidding. I meant to be productive and read and write blog posts, maybe film some YouTube videos. However, I think I’ve expended too much mental energy lately and so I just kept taking very long naps. Naps where I would sleep for a few hours, rather than maybe 20-30 minutes as I would usually do for a nap. So I’m still in catch up mode for writing blog posts.
