Wrap Up

What I Read – February 2019

Okay, bare with me as I figure this out. I used to do wrap up videos on my YouTube channel, but stopped because they were so hard to edit. I usually read ebooks or audiobooks and so don’t have a physical book to hold up in the video. So I was constantly looking for pictures of the books, importing them into my project, and then having to time when the picture was going to show. Then there was the sizing of the picture, and positioning, and it was just a pain in the butt. It is very time intensive, which is part of the reason for my not posting regularly to YouTube anymore. I don’t have the time between work, and I would rather blog, and doing YouTube was taking away my time for blogging. So, now that I’m here…I’m going to try doing a monthly wrap up.

Now, without further rambling, here is what I read in February.

ConnectionsinDeath_audioTitle: Connections In Death
Author: J.D. Robb
Series: In Death – book 48
Format: audible audiobook
Thoughts: I loved this book, just like I’ve loved all the other in death books by J.D. Robb. Also, if you weren’t aware, J.D. Robb is actually a pen name for Nora Roberts. So I can say with confidence, if you love Nora Roberts, you will love J.D. Robb.

BusinessBoutique_audioTitle: Business Boutique: A Woman’s Guide for Making Money Doing What She Loves
Author: Christy Wright
Format: audible audiobook
Thoughts: I thought this book had some good anecdotes and lessons learned from right from Christy’s (the author) life. And while the title says it’s a woman’s guide, it really works for everyone.

CrushItTitle: Crush It!
Author: Gary Vaynerchuk
Format: audible audiobook
Thoughts: So, I went backwards and read Crushing It! by Gary Vaynerchuk first. Crushing It! is actually the book to read after Crush It! This book has the tips, Crushing It! has the testimonials showing these tips work. It’s up to you to do the work though, and put in the time.

Wow, that is it. I finished 3 books in February…seriously wondering if I’m going to hit that goal of reading 104 books. I read 6 books in January which brings my total for the year so far to 9 books. (Sigh.) According to Goodreads this puts me 7 books behind schedule. Can I close the gap a little in March? Stay tuned. 🙂
