Sunday Post #9 – I Need a Slow-Mo Option

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kim over on Caffeinated Reviewer.

Ever feel life is going too fast? I’ve just had one of those weeks and there is no sign of slowing down. There is a project I’m on at work and it’s getting serious. We are at the point of needing to keep track of everyone’s vacations to try to schedule things when most people will be in the office. And in doing this I realized, I still need to take some time off for doctor visits. Ahhh, one more thing to add to the list.

Work has been so busy, I come home beat. I’m up long enough to maybe do some grocery shopping, cook dinner, then I basically crash. I’ve also been trying to squeeze in time with friends. Like Thursday I kept a date with some of my girl friends. We just hung out and talked work and life stuff. But even there our separate lives got in the way and we cut out after only a couple hours. Literally, we hung out for 2 hours before we were like, “okay, time to get back to this thing I need to do still,” when our usual get togethers usually last from the time we each get off work, until the evening comes around. I am seriously starting to get a little creeped with how busy we have all become.

Today is the last day of the Bout of Books. Technically I’ve completed 3, but I’m not counting 2 since they were re-reads and even that term is used loosely. Currently I’m reading Traitor Born by Amy A. Bartol, and I’m currently listening to Cress by Marissa Meyer. I’m only a few hours in to Cress, and have a Bridal Shower to go to and I’m hoping to squeeze in some writing time, so I’m not expecting to finish this before the end of the readathon. I am hoping to finish Traitor Born today. I’m really enjoying it.

It’s not much, but this is all I have to share this week. I should have an announcement coming soon though. 🙂
