Well, the weather surprised me and the snow melted in time for this weekend. This meant we were able to get what leaves there were off the lawn and into bins and bags to be composted. There are still many leaves still on the trees though, so things may still get interesting.

The puppy had some fun dive bombing the piles I made and grabbing some of the leaves. He likes to eat them, not that we actually allow him to eat them. It’s just not always possible to stop him depending on the size of the leaf. It may be gone before we even catch up to him.

Usually the goal of NaNo is to write 50,000 words. This can be daunting, and sometimes can lead to bad word choices in your story as you add extra filler words just to up your word count. I would be one of these people.
