Sunday Post #16 – Saw that Coming

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kim over on Caffeinated Reviewer.

As predicted, the work avalanche has started. It’s so bad, my boss keeps asking me about every hour if I’m done yet with one project in particular. A project I had under control until she stressed me out by asking every hour how it was going. I felt like she was trying to micro-manage, something she doesn’t do. I didn’t even realize until the stress took hold of me by making me physically ill. So I spent most of the last week feeling like crap. Even with 2 days off, I didn’t really feel like I was away from work. In fact I wasn’t, I still opened up work from time to time through the day.

I haven’t really been reading anything new, instead I’ve been re-listening to books. I re-listened to Dark in Death, and Treachery in Death by J D Robb, Born of Shadows, Born of Fury, and Born of Betrayal by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I did however start Under Different Stars by Amy A Bartol, and I am enjoying it. It’s weird though, as much I am enjoying it, being a mood reader, I’m not always wanting to read it. This is not helping my level of sanity. I am also still listening to The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson, I just haven’t listened to it in the last week.
