This is my third attempt at NaNoWriMo, and I’m not off to a great start. I wrote 129 words the first day, and around another 300 on the next; so I am playing a serious game of catch up already. Plus I figure I need to finish a little before the 30th because of family events happening at the end of this month and early December. I don’t know that I will have a lot of writing time on the last few days of this month. Good thing I saved up my PTO time and have several days off this month.
I’m not planning on a lot of new reading happening this month. I do hope to get back to Prince of Thorns soon so I can finish it. Work however will also be coming home with me a lot so I can finish some research for a report I need to have prepared. I should have had the research done already, but my boss added to the research she wants to be included in the report. Thank goodness I can get a bit of help with some of it from some of my coworkers, but there is another coworker doing a report herself, and I may have to help her with hers per our boss. So, it’s just an endless chain of sharing work.
