Sunday Post #56: Dewey’s 24-hour readathon

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly over on the Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news of what happened in your life, what’s coming up on your blog, or recap posts shared.

I am planning on participating in Dewey’s 24-hour readathon happening this Saturday, October 26. I always have a great time with this readathon. Everyone starts at the same time, so be sure to check out when you start by visiting their website and don’t forget to sign up while you are there.

You don’t need to sign up, it’s just fun to see some of the stats of how many people are participating and then how many books were read by all in the end. There is also a book tracker for you to log books completed during the readathon. These books do not have to be ones you started during the 24 hour period. They can be books you are already in the process of reading.

I have a few books I’ve started and put down because I’m having trouble getting into them, or just because I haven’t had much time to pick up an actual ebook. I’m hoping the excitement of the readathon will help me get excited for a few of these and possibly finish one or two.

I will be posting updates here, and cheering you all on twitter. Can’t wait to see you there!
