Sunday Post#4: Time to Catch Up

OnGoings

It’s been a while. Not much has been going on, I have a basic life. The most interesting thing I have to talk about is my Dad just retired!! I am so happy for him. The downside is I have to drive myself to work everyday. Upside, I can listen to more audiobooks; although my drive isn’t that long so I don’t think I’ll be listening to that many more.

I also need to do my taxes still. Have you done yours? I have good intentions every year of doing them early, and then it all falls apart. By the time I can get all the tax documents from everywhere, life has gotten crazy. By crazy I just mean I’m trying to do too much. Or like right now, I’m planning my first ever plane trip! Work is sending me to a conference in April; I’m excited and nervous all at the same time. And yes you read that correctly, it is my first ever plane trip. I have never been on a plane before. All other locations I have been, I have gotten there in a car…or a bus when I took school field trips.

I am hoping to read a lot of books soon.

25901556 I have The Novice by Taran Matharu, which my sister let me borrow…back at Christmas. After 3 months I’m sure she wants her book back. I did start it…maybe a month ago, and I’m only one chapter in, so I would want to start over at this point.

35181313I also received Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine & Ann Aguirre in the February Whimsify box. I’ve been wanting to read it ever since I opened the box, but I was already reading Eve: The Awakening by Jenna Moreci at the time. I finally finished that book last week. I love me some assassins and can’t wait to get into this book.

NewBooks

Since I will be reading more audiobooks, I got a jump start on adding a few audiobooks to my library.
