I'm going to start this post off with the Bookie Trials TBR. Also, I wanted to take a moment to ask, what crazy idea is it to have a readathon, but the goal is to read the fewest number of books? The Winter Bookie Trials runs from midnight December 2 - 11:59 pm December 8 (your local timezone). There are 11 challenges, and the story behind this quest is we are trying to save our Daemons from the Evil Enchanter. To save our Daemons, we must read as few books as possible. I have managed to find 2 books to complete all 11 quests.
The Tome Topple is coming! There are 5 challenges, and I don't believe I will complete them all; in fact I'm not sure I'll complete any of them since I'm also focusing on writing 50,000 words this month. When I did my November TBR I left 2 spots for books for this readathon.
Well, here we go again. Usually there is an hour 0 check in kind of deal where everyone answers the same questions like, how many times you've participated in Dewey's readathon. I've lost count. I'm just going to talk about why I love Dewey's readathon.
I will be participating in the Book Junkie Quest Readathon created by Rachel Marie the Book Junkie. She also created a personality test, and I came up as team #scribe. I did film a TBR video, but due to technical difficulties which you can read about in my Sunday Post tomorrow, I am unable to edit the video. I could try a clean take, but it is already late Friday evening, and soon to be Saturday when I wanted to post my TBR. So, here we are.
Tome Topple round 8 is complete and I'm looking forward to round 9 already.
Well, round 8 of the Tome Topple readathon created by Same from Thoughts on Tomes starts today and goes until Friday, April 26. I've picked 3 books, which I think is ambitious.
The readathon is about to begin here, and I still don't feel awake yet. Also, as per what you might say is becoming tradition, there has been a last minute schedule change. We have to go to a family member's house for a bit to help clean items from Grandparents who are no longer with… Continue reading Dewey’s Readathon | April 2019
The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly over on the Caffeinated Reviewer. Saturday was Dewey's 24 hour readathon, which I have been participating in for the last few years. Usually, since starting my YouTube channel I would vlog the event. This time though, I got sucked into a book, and somehow just… Continue reading Sunday Post #19 – Dewey’s Readathon Fall 2018
A readathon is more or less a reading spree held for any varying lengths of time, where participants try to read as many books as possible. I was introduced to readathons just a few short years ago, when I found one of Little Book Owl's videos about Dewey's 24-hour Readathon. I decided to participate in… Continue reading Readathons – Good or Bad
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 14th and runs through Sunday, May 20th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of… Continue reading Bout of Books Readathon
