Sunday Post #59: Fall or Winter

Sunday Post #59: Fall or Winter

The puppy had some fun dive bombing the piles I made and grabbing some of the leaves. He likes to eat them, not that we actually allow him to eat them. It’s just not always possible to stop him depending on the size of the leaf. It may be gone before we even catch up to him.

Sunday Post #52: Getting Ahead, While Falling Behind

Sunday Post #52: Getting Ahead, While Falling Behind

Things at work are about as crazy as ever. I’m slowly picking at my to do list while at the same time getting ahead where possible and yet feeling like I’m falling behind. This may sound backwards. How can one get ahead but at the same time fall behind? Sounds like a mis-prioritization of work.

Sunday Post #50 – 69 Modules!

Sunday Post #50 – 69 Modules!

My jaw dropped, and my eyes actually bulged out of my head. I knew this course would be in depth, and cover a lot, I just didn’t realize how much. I counted up the modules and found there are 69 modules to complete.

Sunday Post #45: Computer Woes

Sunday Post #45: Computer Woes

Well, one thing after another. A little over a week ago now, the external hard drive I was using stopped being recognized by my macbook. I have an external hard drive because this hard drive is freaking intsy-bitsy. So for all my photo and video editing, I have an external hard drive hooked to my macbook while I work because somehow with maybe 10 programs loaded on the macbook, and maybe 20-30 documents, it can’t really hold a photo to edit, and especially not the files involved to edit a video. Alas, the puppy was being needy, so I closed the macbook and set it down with the external hard drive on top. The hard drive slid off the top of the macbook and disconnected from it’s cord and fell on the floor.

Sunday Post #44: Habitica-Gameify Your Life

Habitica is an app on your phone meant to make your to do list fun. It worked for about 2 or 3 weeks before I got annoyed with it. It works best if you have no recurring monthly tasks. The best you can do for repeating tasks is if they repeat on specific days each week, such as each Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, or just every Monday. If you have a recurring monthly task, like a repeating bill, you will need to enter the task each, time, you need to complete the task.

Sunday Post #43: Cleaning Out the Storage

Sunday Post #43: Cleaning Out the Storage

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly over on the Caffeinated Reviewer. Our basement has been full of stuff since shortly after we moved into our current house. It’s been over a decade and we have accumulated others stuff as well as additional stuff of our own. After these many years, I…

Sunday Post #42: Fun at a Wedding

Sunday Post #42: Fun at a Wedding

I even managed to get my husband on the dance floor. Not only that, we opened the floor! He doesn’t like to dance, and I consider myself lucky to get him out for one. It was nice having it be the first dance of the night, and us being the first on the dance floor.

Sunday Post #41: Cleaning Goodreads

Sunday Post #41: Cleaning Goodreads

I’ve been working on cleaning up my Goodreads shelves. It’s hard with most every book being in an electronic format, so it’s hard to see what I have and need to read. I had created a just need the chance shelf on Goodreads, but I’ve been bad about keeping it up to date, and then it’s hard to find books I’m interested in. To solve this, I’m putting the books I’m interested in only on an Amazon wishlist. Then I’ll need to clean my wishlist because I know there are a few books that have been on the list for a few years.
